A "Three-historic" occasion, my son turned 3!
A big part of this occupation for me is making it a point to caputre my own kids' childhoods. When I started my business, my daughter was less than a year old. I originally had set the goal to take my kids out at least once a month for photos, and for a while did really well. It has been some time now since I've kept up that well, but I do still try and make it a point to create purposeful portraits at least every so often, and birthdays are a must of course.
When I asked Link what kind of birthday he wanted this year, there was no hesitation when he said, "DINOSAUR!! RAWRRRR!" And luckily, our buddy who's birthday is the day after Link's agreed to the idea. It was so much fun to plan and execute a shared birthday party for these two THREE-REX's. Especially the fun photoshoot at the Dallas Zoo.
